Feminized Seeds

At the onset, Amsterdam Seedshop was known for its selling of regular cannabis seed as was the norm for most seedshops in The Netherlands. However, after years of testing and experimentation with what was to become our 8 signature strains, we have made them feminized. Feminized seed has a process through which the normal development of seeds is altered to produce only female plants. Why is this important? This is because few people understand that seeds come in male and female forms, this largely in part, to the fact that there is no way to distinguish between male from female seeds. This little but important details in seedling have been over the years crystallized and stabilized by the original team of Amsterdam Seedshop. This year, we are also introducing a new feminized 100% seed strain known as CRYSTALLIZED.

The question on every customer’s mind is, why feminized seeds? First and foremost, instability of gender is a desirable trait in the wild, where reproduction is the urgent endgame. However, in cannabis seed cultivation, gender seed predictability is the endgame of any cultivator due to the ability of the feminized seeds to produce the desirable cannabis seed strains. We are not only experts in feminized cannabis seedling at Amsterdam Seedshop, but we also erase the doubts of gardeners in the probability of male seeds superseding in a potential $80 ten-pack seedling bag. In other words, all plants cultivated by our team remain all females, taking out all unnecessary work of separate male and female plants, and removing the genetic lottery of male/female harvest in the equation. Planted feminized seeds display accurate traits that feed into getting pleasant and pleasing end products, given the proper conditions that we are known for, our feminized seeds display all of the various pleasing parts: the orange hairs or fiery color, sugar crystals, and chunky knobs wrap in leaves.
